Manor Fields Primary School

Key Information

Manor Fields is an over-subscribed, welcoming school with a very positive reputation in the community. Based on self-evaluation, and corroborated by Ofsted, our community and the Local Authority, we consider ourselves to be a ‘good’ school with many heart-warming features. Day-to-day practices and strategic plans demonstrate our relentless drive for excellence and we could not be more ambitious for every child. We are determined that our children will achieve of their best so that they can grow up to be kind, successful and responsible citizens.

The school was built in 2009 so we have the benefit of attractive, purpose-built accommodation. Multiple windows give attractive views of the grounds and make the classes light and bright. A shared area running throughout the school guarantees ease of access for all pupils and their families.

The school has a large hall that is well equipped for assemblies and Physical Exercise and it is also used as the dining hall. School dinners are cooked onsite using fresh, local ingredients (whenever possible) every day. We actively encourage children to have school dinners so that we can support their social skills, develop their use of cutlery and, in some cases, broaden their appetites!

The school grounds are attractive, well planted and have the potential to be developed further. There is a willow dome, tyre park and an outside classroom in addition to superb play equipment such as a Trim Trail and static features for imaginary play such as a train and a pirate ship.
